The soldiers above were laying down covering fire but they kept coming, caine didnt faulter he wanted these people alive. he fired in short well aimed deadly bursts

There where only a hand full of people left and the doctors work fast to get them into the city.

"Alright thats the last one!" Stefany called out to Caine.

"Close it!" he said, the zombies were over welming, he had to stay out till the last possible second to destract them, then he slip on the dirt through the small opening before it sealed

Stefany sighed in relef as the gate closed and there seemed to be no infected. The last of the new comers was put into a car and taken to the hospital.

he stood and looked over at her and smiled

She walked over to him and smiled, "That was very stupid and brave but normally they go hand in hand." She said and looked him over. "Your not hurt, are you?"

"Nope...But I better let you exam me to be safe"

"I'll give you a full exam if you like." She said smiling shyly. "I have to check you for infection just in case. roll up your sleeve hold out your arm."

he did as she asked looking around, the soldiers were going through the weapons bins and a few left for the hospital

She took some of his blood then mixed it with the telling liquid. "All clear." She told him when the blood didn't change color. "You can see me later for the full exam."

"Cool" he smiled slinging the P90 on his back and waiving to another major whos shift it was

"I better get to the hospital. With all these new people they are going to need my help." She said with a sigh. "And here i thought i'd acually get a day off."

"No rest for the wicked...lets go then" he didnt mind spending time with her though

She smiled at him and then got into a car that was heading to the hospital.
