he looked at her nervously "Yes... Only my tests are back there...they were already infected" the man lied

"You have infected people inside your lab?" She looked a Caine. "I'm going to check it out." She said to him and began to head over to the lab.

"No dont!" he protested, the infected were behind bullet proof glass
"Check it" caine said holding a gun to the man

She took a look thought the glass on the door. "...What the fuck...?" She said shocked. She turned at looked at the other Doctor. "What the fuck is that?!" There were infected but a hole new kind. "What did you do?"

"Their...not finished..." he said, the man had gone insane

"What did you do to those people?" She asked She then noticed a empty holding cell. "Were these all full?"

"Yes.. there full... their the new strain... Their perfect...all 24 of them"

"24?... theres only 23..." She said shinning her light into the window.

"No..their cant be!"

"Well it is. We got to get the fuck out of here now." She said as she turned and started to walk back over to them.

"No we have to find it!" the truth was there was no 24... the only other infected there was the doctor

"Caine the longer we stay here the longer we open our selves to infection." She said taking over her nap sac. "Lets just test the doctor and go."

"NO! lets just go...these infected are faster and smatter than any before"

"Were not taking you any where until you've been tested." She said not trusting him one bit.

"Fine..." he was thinking rapidly of how to escape

She pulled out a sering and testing tube. "Hold out your arm." She said to Nesbit standing in front of him.

he swolloed deeply and put his arm out, hopefully the infection hadnt reached all of his body

She found a vain and took a sample then placed a cotton ball on the hole. "put presser on that." She told him and then put the blood into the test tube and added in the solution that would tell if he was infected or not. It turned black. She looked at Caine and backed away from nesbit.

nesbit looked at her and knew what this ment "No please dont I can cure it i ca" his eyes started to go whiter

"Tell us what youve done" caine stepped back holding on gun to him

"Once the infection is in a body it cant mutate... he must of used new bodies..." She said thinking it over. "Did you use the other people here?"

"Yes...but they were all lost... The first ones were so primatrive but I changed them...made them better.... at first I tried to cure them but why cure perfection?"

"Your sick!" She said with a look of disgust on her face. "Its people like you that are the reason we have this problem in the first place!"

"My work has saved these people...there now perfect"

caine tried hard not to shoot this man...he was recording everything

"There not perfect there monsters. With no capability to think past the basic needs."
