She glanced at him laughing lightly and flipped the page she was reading. "judging from his other work i dont like the guy..."

"Really?... If hes got a viable cure then meh"

She nodded, "But if he got it all wrong and fucked with the virus then we could have something more deadly on our hands."

"Why you think were armed to the teeth" he said

"Because your military thats what you do." She said grinning and handed him the file.

he put it away "Great 14 days drive..." he looked up at the sky

"Well it could be worse."

"...meh" he rolled onto his side

She pulled out her smokes and lit one before offering them to him. "Cheer up emo kid." She said with a smile.

he took one and lit it laying on his back "Hay..."

She put her pack away and laid on her stomac looking around.

"Hay stef...Uh..." he was nervous

She took a drag from her smoke and looked at him. "Yeah?"

"Were um...dating now right?"

She smiled, "If thats what you want then yes." She said and kissed his cheek.

"It is... But um... Wont you get in trouble?"

She looked confused. "Why would i get introble?" she asked.

"Well...Your a higher rank then me...Remmember army medical staff are higher up like ..."

She rolled her eyes. "I dont think that matters. and if it dose i dont care."

he smiled "Oh" the smile dissapeared "And uh...I found some photos in my room uh...whos the guy your with in them?"

"My father." She said, "that used to be his room."

"Oh...Shit I thought he was your. oh he looked young"

She pulled a photo out of her pocket. "Dad always acted like a kid. After infection he kinda grew up..." She said handing him the photo of her and her father.

"Wait isnt this..." he pointed at the male standing besides her father in the photo

"Oh thats Andy... my older brother. He went out into the wastelands with my father. He never came back." She said with a small frown.
